Singapore Air Adds San Francisco-Singapore Nonstop Route

If you love nonstop flights which don’t require tiresome layovers, you should know that Singapore Air has added a new one to their roster of routes. The latest addition is a San Francisco-Singapore Nonstop Route and this exciting new direct flight option went into effect on the 23rd of October, 2016.

When you choose this flight, you’ll be choosing the airline’s longest flight. In 2018, Singapore Air will add a new type of airplane, called the A350-900, which allows for even longer flights, such as forays from Singapore and L.A. and Singapore and New York.

The announcement followed a similar announcement from United Airlines. The UA (United Airlines) announcement was about a direct flight between Singapore and San Francisco.

Why Choose a Long Direct Flight?

Layovers are so tiring and they tend to drain the life out of travelers. It’s really better to get comfortable on a nonstop flight and doze or read. Since you won’t have to change planes, the experience of getting from Point A to Point B will be as quick and stress-free as possible. While you will need to spend a fair bit of time in the air, it’s really the easiest way to travel. In fact, a lot of people take flights which do have layovers because they can’t afford (or don’t want to pay for) direct flights.

If you want to book this interesting new flight, be sure to check the official Singapore Airlines website today. You’ll be able to price the flight and check and see if flight times suit your schedule.

Singapore Airlines is all about customer service and innovation. This is why the airline is always pushing itself in terms of offering more of what customers want. When you choose this airline, you’ll find that you are treated with so much respect. Singapore is a great country which is known for its super-low crime rate and its progressive government. Singapore Airlines is also safe and progressive, so it’s a credit to its home country, even when its jets are in the skies all over the world.

Direct flights can be long and tiring in their own way. However, they won’t be as tiring as flights with layovers galore. The key to enjoying a direct flight which is of longer duration is taking the right things in your carry-on bag. If you’re flying first class or business class, there should be a lot of perks available, such as blankets, more leg room, etc. However, those who fly economy should bring the perks themselves. Wear something warmer, as planes tend to get chilly, and be sure to bring along books and other things which will help you to pass the time. Check Singapore Airlines rules in order to see what you’re allowed to bring along in your carry-on bag.

You will find that direct flights cost more. However, they offer a lot of value for the money and they are the preferred flight option of travelers who want to get where they are going with minimal fuss and hassle.
